French Roast

Roast Level: Dark
Tasting Notes: Hazelnut, Dark Chocolate, Cherry

Our French Roast is perfect if you love a French roast coffee’s deep, rich flavor.
These arabica beans are on the darker end of the scale and are the color of dark chocolate. The distinguishable taste of a French Roast coffee comes from a deeper, hotter roast that pulls the bean’s natural oils to the surface, resulting in a bold, complex coffee with plenty of character.

Taste the full-bodied, rich flavors our French Roast coffee offers. This coffee is perfect for those looking for a more robust tasting cup of coffee and a delightful bite.

About The Brew

Dois Americanos is Portuguese for “Two Americans.” Our mission is to connect North and South America by producing smooth, rich coffee. Each batch of our coffee starts in Brazil from soil, cultivated with sustainable farming practices, resulting in some of the world’s finest arabica coffee beans. The beans are then sent to our historic roasting facility in Red Hook, Brooklyn where we roast in small batches and ship directly to you. From farm to cup, we want you to journey with us as we share our love of coffee with the world!

Sustainable, Premium Coffee

Origin

Fazenda Monte Verde, a consistent finalist in the Brazilian Cup of Excellence Competition, is located in the municipality of Carmo de Minas in the Mantiqueira region, which has excellent growing conditions for the production of high quality coffees and is internationally recognized for coffee exports.

The Farm Santa Izabel has always been recognized for the high quality of its coffees. Nobletree Coffee Farms acquired Santa Izabel, located in the south of Minas Gerai, in 2013 and began transforming it into a sustainable, world-class coffee bean producer. By 2017, our new crops started to harvest. Since 2020, the older sections are experiencing rejuvenation for stability and sustained growth.
