The Nobletree Coffee roasting plant is located in the historic shipping port of Red Hook, Brooklyn.
At this facility, Nobletree’s sourcing, QC, and the roasting team (include multiple licensed Q-Graders) hand craft the best coffee possible. With a temperature and humidity controlled green coffee storage area, the beans are protected before they are small batched and roasted under high temperatures. After the roast, the coffee is left to cool, and then collected, labelled and bagged. The quality control room is where coffee is sourced, judged, and certified by Nobletree’s director of coffee, and a Q grader. Our Director grinds batches of coffee and changes the aroma by adding water. Like a sommelier, he tastes about 12 to 30 cups of coffee a day and figures the parameters that will be used for roasting and eventually for public consumption.
